Run your finger along the front and rear drum rim edges — if you feel rough metal, missing felt, or see a gap between the drum and bulkhead, the seal needs replacement. Use a flashlight to inspect the rear bulkhead seal as well, as Samsung dryers have felt on both front and rear drum edges.
