The front of the storage or broiler drawer hangs down and refuses to close all the way. A broken or missing front drawer glide is the most common cause — replacing it restores proper alignment and closure.
The bottom drawer feels rough, stiff, or uneven when sliding in or out. A worn or cracked front glide no longer provides a smooth bearing surface, causing the drawer to bind against the range frame.
Loud scraping, grinding, or squealing sounds when operating the drawer indicate that the plastic glide has failed and metal-on-metal contact is occurring. Replacing the glide eliminates the noise.
If the drawer comes completely off its slides, inspect the front corner glides first. A shattered or missing 3051162 glide is often what allows the drawer to derail entirely.

💡 Pro Tip: Is Your Range Drawer Glide the Problem?
Your part is likely the culprit if you notice any of the following:
⚠️ The bottom storage / broiler drawer drags, sticks, or feels rough when opening or closing
⚠️ The drawer will not close all the way or drops down at the front
⚠️ You find a small broken white or tan plastic piece on the floor in front of the range
⚠️ Loud scraping or grinding noise when sliding the drawer in or out
Pull the drawer fully out and flip it over — inspect the two front corners where the glides clip onto the drawer frame. A cracked, missing, or deformed glide is the most common cause of drawer problems. Remember: each range uses 2 front glides (3051162) + 2 rear glides (3051163), one at each corner. Replace all four at the same time to restore perfectly balanced movement.
