GE & Hotpoint Washer Water Inlet Valve Parts — Models & Compatibility

The water inlet valve controls all water flow into your GE or Hotpoint washer — hot, cold, and everything in between. When it fails, you'll either get no water filling at all, or you'll find puddles behind your machine from a leaking valve body. The WH13X26534 valve assembly replaces multiple older part numbers (AP6891106, WH13X25296, WH13X25297) and fits over 100 GE and Hotpoint top-load washer models.
Is This the Right Part for Your Model?
This valve fits GE GTW and Hotpoint HTW series washers manufactured from roughly 2012 onward. Your model number is usually on a label inside the washer lid or on the rear panel near the top. Match your full model number (including letters and digits after the main series code) against the compatibility list below. Models like GTW220ACK1WW, GTW330ASK3WW, GTW335ASN2WW, and HTW200ASK0WW are confirmed fits.
About This Replacement Part
The WH13X26534 is a complete valve assembly with dual solenoid coils that control hot and cold water independently. It mounts to the back panel of your washer and connects to your household water lines via threaded inlet ports. The most common failure mode is internal seal deterioration — you'll notice water dripping from the valve body even when the washer isn't running. The second most common issue is complete electrical failure of one or both solenoids, which prevents water from entering the tub during fill cycles. If your washer won't fill with water at all, or if it only fills with hot or cold (not both), this valve is almost always the culprit.
Common Symptoms Requiring Valve Replacement
- Leaking: Water pooling behind or under the washer, typically from the valve connection points or valve body itself
- Water Filling Issues: Washer takes forever to fill, fills intermittently, or doesn't reach proper water level
- No hot or cold water: Only one temperature works, or no water enters the tub when cycle starts
What's Included
You're getting the complete valve assembly — the valve body, both solenoid coils, inlet screens, and mounting hardware. This is a direct OEM-equivalent replacement, not a universal valve that requires adaptation. The part ships ready to install with no modifications needed.
Compatible GE & Hotpoint Washer Models
This valve works across GE's GTW series and Hotpoint's HTW series top-load washers. We've listed the most common models below, but this part fits many more variations within these product lines.
